What Pieces Mosaic Together
From the earliest days of our church we understood that God called us to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to spread the gospel and to do so in a way that made much of Christ, through His Word, Worship, Community and Outreach.
We believe that through God’s revelation to us in His Scriptures we have been led to a God- honoring philosophy of ministry that will drive our methods to reach the Gulf Coast – we call this an incarnational ministry. Incarnational ministry follows in the footsteps of Jesus, our Lord, the Son of God and our Savior, in that while He was not of the world, He “took on flesh” and was in the world, interacting in a real and life-impacting way. (John 17:15-18, 1 Timothy 3:16)
An effect of this philosophy is that we don’t develop ministries that will lift high the name of Mosaic Church, but that we will prayerfully and diligently join alongside Christ-honoring ministries that already exist here on the Gulf Coast in order to see others come to faith and discipleship in Jesus Christ. That is to say, we will partner with local missions and local efforts to allow our lives and not our church specific ministries lead the way to Jesus. This means that we will seek to develop relationships with people around us, whether it is in the local coffee shops, restaurants, gyms or businesses, with the motivation of loving people towards Jesus in a way that brings Him glory, not our church or our members.
